Welcome to the University of Bradford's Emergency Critical Care Training, commissioned by

in response to the healthcare crisis related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The material produced is for the dedicated use of all front-line healthcare professionals providing care to patients experiencing COVID-19.

We are primarily seeking to help you to protect yourself, your colleagues, your families and your patients. We aim to provide you with a solid theoretical foundation on which to build your new clinical skills and competencies, so that you will be able to function safely and effectively in a critical care environment.

We recognise that many of you will have no previous experience in critical care, and those who do may be required to take on additional roles. We have therefore tailored our content to cater for a wide-ranging audience, in the hope of supporting as many practitioners as possible to care for critically ill patients with COVID-19.
